Mike Donnelly leads Consumer and Small Business Banking operations for the Metro Atlanta North Georgia region. As regional banking director, he leads about 1,200 employees in more than 100 branches across the region.
Donnelly’s previous roles with Wells Fargo include regional president for the Mid-South region (encompassing Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee), retail banking executive, retail banking director and financial specialist leader.
An active community leader, Donnelly chairs the Georgia Partnership for Education and serves on the boards of Leadership Atlanta, the Atlanta Beltline Partnership, Teach for America in Atlanta, the Buckhead Coalition and the Woodward Foundation. He is also a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Atlanta Rotary Club and the Carter Center Board of Councilors.
In 2015, the Atlanta Business Chronicle named Donnelly “Most Admired CEO” in the finance category. The following year, he chaired the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s 2016-2017 capital campaign which, through his leadership, was the number one fundraising campaign in the nation. He has been named among the “500 Most Influential Georgians” by Georgia Trend magazine numerous times.
Donnelly earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Radford University in Virginia.
